My story

Why Carme Farre believes in the Pilates philosophy

Carme fell in love with Pilates because she found it a very intellectual exercise. Pilates has 6 principles: Breathing, Centering, Concentration, Control, Flow and Precision.

Pilates exercises work and develop the whole body. They also correct poor posture, restore physical vitality, invigorate the mind and elevate the spirit. Pilates combines strength, flexibility and precision. You become extremely efficient in your movements when exercising and the objective is to apply it to your daily life.

Just as your body benefits from exercises to tone the muscles, sculpt your body shape, boost circulation and your fitness, the exact same benefits applies to the face.

Applying Pilates principles to the face makes facial exercises extremely efficient. Carme Farre’s technique is based on a deep understanding of the facial anatomy. The objective is to target the primary muscle movers with precision. As with Pilates for the body, Facial Fitness takes time to master but results are visible after only 8 weeks.

Can you spot the first signs of ageing on your face? These include: double chin, sagging jaw, drooping eyelids, crow’s feet around the eyes, vertical lines around your mouth and less full cheeks.

Would you prefer a natural alternative to Botox or invasive surgery? Would you like to see the result of an organic face lift?

Be empowered by Carme Farre and her personalised Facial Fitness classes to peel back the years naturally and age timelessly.

Carme brings many influences to her work. She started exercising in her teens with her mum in Spain. During her time travelling, everywhere she went: France, Asia, the USA or South America, she searched for the most difficult and different fitness class she could find. She loved the challenge, even if she barely understood the language, she just joined in. To this day she continues to improve not only her technique, but the overall effectiveness each exercise delivers.

“Recently I met Carme, with the purpose of learning Facial Fitness, I loved the technique and rhythm of the class, so much so that I have aimed to continue with Pilates classes, which are intense, revitalising and the quality of care and explanation of each movement from Carme are extraordinary, I highly recommend her!” – Karina Grippaldi

My story

Carme Farre's routines for fitness, food and beauty

Carme’s own daily routine includes 15 minutes of Facial Fitness and 30 minutes of daily tonic Pilates. On a weekly basis, she does a combination of spinning, HIIT(High Intensity Interval Training), Gyrotonics, Zumba and Yoga.  As she gets older, Pilates is an ideal base to protect her from injury as she pursues other high intensity fitness classes.

Food is also an essential part of who she is. Carme strives for a balanced and thoughtful diet ‘I am what I eat’: 80% healthy and 20% indulgence. Constantly searching for exciting recipes using fresh and seasonal ingredient to cook at home, she shares these on Instagram.

Carme has tried to reduce gluten, lactose and meat, especially as she gets older. Her diet is now primarily based on eating fresh vegetables, fish and fruit. This has resulted in Carme feeling lighter and more energetic.

In terms of beauty routines, exercising the facial muscles helps give the skin a natural glow and a fuller appearance. However, as we age, our skin loses collagen and needs more moisturising.  As Carme approaches her 50s, she uses specially tailored creams to regulate her skin’s hydration depending on the weather.  She also has a regular facial massage which  stimulates blood flow and lymphatic circulation.

Let Carme Farre empower you with her holistic approach and tailored workouts to peel back the years naturally and age gracefully.
